The tool

PollRateTest is a free, browser-based utility that estimates keyboard and mouse input rates from the events your browser receives. It requires no account, no download, and no payment.

Estimates, not laboratory measurements

Results are estimates. A browser cannot read a keyboard's USB report rate directly, and readings vary with your browser, operating system, device, and background load. Do not use results from this site as the sole basis for a purchase, warranty claim, or competitive decision. For a lab-grade measurement, use your device maker's own software or a hardware analyser.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it aggressively, or use it for any unlawful purpose. The site's text, design, and code are provided for your personal, non-commercial use of the tool.

Availability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the tool at any time without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PollRateTest and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its measurements.
